• BOLTS HOME PLAYOFF OPENER: The Tampa Bay Lightning return to Amalie Arena tonight, down two games to none in their best-of-seven series against the Florida Panthers. The Bolts lost both games on the road, 3-2 and 3-2. The puck drops tonight at 7 p.m.

• GAS PRICES DIP: Thursday sees the Sunshine State's average gas prices taking another tumble, stated AAA. Florida's average gas price on Thursday is $3.48 per gallon, a three-cent drop from the day before. The national average price of gas on Thursday is $3.66 per gallon, the same as the previous day, according to AAA. • MULTIPLE ALGAE BLOOMS IN POLK: The Florida Department of Health in Polk County (DOH-Polk) has issued a health alert for the presence of harmful blue-green algal toxins in Lake Conine, Lake Gibson, Scott Lake, and Tiger Lake. Residents are advised to avoid swimming or drinking the water, or using personal watercrafts at this time. For additional information on potential health effects of algal blooms, visit the Florida Health website. 


• ST. PETE AFFORDABLE APARTMENTS: Officials from Pinellas County and the City of St. Petersburg will join Volunteers of America Florida to celebrate the opening of Innovare, 50 new affordable apartments in downtown St. Petersburg. The grand opening event will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, April 26, at 850 5th Ave. S.
