TAMPA BAY, Fla. — Metropolitan Ministries' Easter celebrations is serving up meals for the homeless and those in need.

  • About 2,500 meals being served in Tampa Bay area

Easter is the season of hope and new life, but for at-risk and homeless individuals and families, it can also be a time of stress, uncertainty and hunger.

Metropolitan Ministries is serving about 2,500 meals to people throughout the Tampa Bay area, with Hyde Park one of six locations where warm meals were available.

Satisfying hunger is often the first step to the life-changing help we offer like safe shelter, case management, counseling, education, and job training programs.

Metropolitan Ministries' staff and the "Metro Brigade" will be on campus and out in the community alleviating hunger as well as providing emotional support and compassion for those in need.
