SEFFNER, Fla. — A 68-year-old man was killed Thursday morning when he was struck by a vehicle in the Seffner area.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was struck by a Honda SUV just before 7 a.m. at US 92 and Parsons Avenue.
Troopers said the man, whose name has not been released, was struck while walking across an unlit portion of US 92.
Troopers have not released the identity of the person killed. The 42-year-old woman driving the Honda was not injured in the crash.
The roadway was closed for several hours after the crash.
