TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa police are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian. 

The crash occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. Saturday on Fowler Avenue just west of N. 30th Street. 

Police have released very few details on the crash. Only saying that a pedestian was hit by a vehicle and died at the scene. 

The crash shut down the area of Fowler Ave. for a short time Saturday night as police were investigating. 

Officials said no arrests have been made at this time and that the investigation is ongoing.
