ORLANDO, Fla. — People traveling through Orlando’s biggest airport will have another option to get tested for COVID-19.

What You Need To Know

  • There are now two COVID testing sites at the Orlando International Airport

  • Airport leaders say this will help accommodate the growing demand

Orlando International Airport has added a second coronavirus testing site, COVID Testing LLC.

While walk-ups are accepted at the new COVID-19 testing site, airport officials are encouraging appointments because demand for testing fills up appointments fast.

COVID Testing LLC offer PCR tests with a 30 minute result time and antigen tests with a 10-minute turnaround.

Testing is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. People can sign up for testing appointments here:  https://mco.gomeyra.cloud/services/tests

This adds to another testing location at the airport run by AdventHealth. Airport leaders say this will help accommodate the growing demand here for testing as travel volume is busy and the omicron variant continues to spread.

While AdventHeath is reporting decreasing numbers of hospitalizations across Florida, the positivity rate of COVID-19 remains high in Orange County at more than 30%.

A traveler heading back to Brazil said he needed to get tested at the airport because customs officials would not accept the test he got at a local store.

“My government is asking for this test, this particular test, and my wasn’t. It was a different test,” said airport traveler Romeu Dib.
