It’s a tradition runners from around the area look forward to all year: The Mountain Goat Run, happening Sunday.

This is the 45th year the 10-mile run has been offered up and down the hills of the Salt City. Clinton Square is the start and finish of the race.

Registration numbers are up compared to previous years, and runners can register until the day of the event.

There's even have a Goat 4 Life option, in which registrants can pay one flat fee and run the Mountain Goat for the rest of their life.

Don’t want to be part of the crowd? Run The Mountain Goat virtually. The registration fee is the same, but you can register up until May 24.

If running the entire 10 miles isn’t your speed, run it with a friend. The two-person relay splits the race in half to five miles between two people.
