Musician and actor Justin Timberlake was arrested in Sag Harbor, a town on the east end of New York's Long Island, accused of Driving While Intoxicated, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office told Spectrum News.

Timberlake was arraigned in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on Tuesday morning, the Suffolk DA's office said. He was released from custody and pleaded not guilty to one count of DWI. His next court date is set for July 26.

Representatives for Timberlake declined to comment to Spectrum News.

Sag Harbor is a coastal village in the Hamptons, around 100 miles from New York City and a hotspot for wealthy visitors during the summer.

Timberlake has two upcoming shows in Chicago on Friday and Saturday, then is scheduled for New York's Madison Square Garden next week on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Timberlake, born and raised in Memphis, Tenn., first began performing as a child, competing on the show "Star Search" and later became a main cast member on "The All-New Mickey Mouse Club" alongside future NSYNC bandmate JC Chasez and his eventual girlfriend Britney Spears.

He rose to prominence as a featured member of NSYNC before forging his own solo career in 2002. Timberlake later became an actor, appearing in such films as 2010's "The Social Network."
