TAMPA, Fla — Spectrum Bay News 9 meteorologists will appear at a number of hurricane expos and other preparation events ahead of storm season, which starts June 1.

The events are designed to help Bay area residents — many of whom are still recovering from Helene and Milton — get ready for the 2025 storm season.

Our meteorologists will provide insights about what to expect during hurricane season, along with safety tips, how to build your own hurricane kits, storm alerts and more.
