ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Magic have two more games next week that were not originally on the schedule for this season — on Dec. 6 in Cleveland at home at Amway Center on Dec. 8.

Tip-off for both games is 7 p.m.

NBA schedule makers left the week open when it released the league’s schedules in August so that they could adjust after the results of group play in The NBA In-Season Tournament became known.

Orlando finished 3-1 in group play, but so did the Boston Celtics and New Jersey Nets in Group C. Boston won that tiebreaker based on a higher points differential to advance to the quarterfinals.

In the East, Boston, New York, Cleveland, Orlando and Brooklyn all went 3-1 and kept trying to pile up points. All those teams except the Magic played on Tuesday night. The Celtics outscored the teams in their Group C by 27 points, compared with a +22 differential for Orlando and +20 for Brooklyn. That meant the Celtics won East Group C. The Knicks, who had a +42 point differential, got the East wild card on point differential over the Cavaliers, Magic and Nets.

Tickets for Orlando’s home game against Detroit went on sale Wednesday. They can be purchased at the Amway Center box office, or online.
