ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — St. Pete police say the city's most wanted person has been caught.

Benjamin Williams, also known as "Bambi," shot into the vehicle of Joana Peca in July 2021, killing her. Her two kids were inside the vehicle as well.

Police Chief Anthony Holloway said his department got a tip last week that Williams was living in Mexico. The tip came from a video posted to the social media platform TikTok.

U.S. Marshals went there, found him, and brought him back.

Peca's mother was at a Tuesday news conference announcing the arrest.

"Nothing we do can replace the loss of your daughter," Holloway said. "But at least we have a dangerous person off the street. At least a loving mother, a loving daughter and the family can know now that we have him in custody."

Williams is charged with first-degree murder and two counts of child abuse.
