Jorja Roman helps you get your weekdays started on Spectrum Bay News 9.
Jorja joined the Bay News 9 team in May of 2018 as a Pinellas County reporter. In April of 2020, she began anchoring on the weekends, sharing big local stories and explaining how national news impacted the Bay Area. During the week, she reported on important issues out in the community. She helped deliver critical information during the height of the coronavirus pandemic and shared stories of hope and resilience.
Jorja started her journalism career at Spectrum News in Albany, New York where she reported extensively on the opioid crisis and its statewide impacts.
Like many, Jorja was drawn to the sunshine state because of our beautiful beaches and warm weather. Pinellas County has quickly become home and she loves living here. Jorja enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new places in the Bay Area with her husband and their dog, Leroy, and visiting local beaches with her mom.
