Matt Lackritz is a multimedia journalist for the Spectrum Bay News 9 team.

He grew up in Solon, Ohio, about 20 minutes outside of Cleveland. After high school, Matt attended Ohio University where he got his Bachelor's of Science degree in Journalism.

Matt's first reporting job was in Tyler, TX at KYTX. From 2019 to 2021, he worked there as a general assignment reporter. Matt then joined WSAZ in Charleston, West Virginia in a similar role from 2021 to 2023 before joining the Spectrum News team.

In his free time, Matt enjoys playing volleyball, tennis, and is enjoying exploring the Tampa Bay. Though he may be far from home his Cleveland, the local sports teams there are still close to his heart.
