WINTER HAVEN, Fla. -- The Force will be strong with Legoland Florida this weekend.
- Legoland Florida to debut new "Star Wars" display
- Display inspired by "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"
- Just in time for Star Wars Days which starts May 5
The theme park is set to debut a large display inspired by “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on May 4.
The Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Miniland model display will feature recreations of several scenes from the hit movie, including the planet of Jakku, Rey’s rescue of BB-8, and the wreck of Finn and Poe’s TIE fighter.
Also included in the display will be a 350,000-brick Star Destroyer.
The display is the centerpiece of Star Wars Days, which starts May 5 and runs the next three weekends.
During the event, visitors will have the chance to tour the new display, build their own Star Wars-themed model, take photos with Lego models of Yoda and Chewbacca, and much more.
Lego Captain Phasma will also make her debut as part of a meet-and-greet opportunity.
Star Wars Days is included with regular theme park admission.
