- Tigris will the tallest launch coaster in Florida
At 150 feet, Tigris will be the tallest launch coaster in Florida.
As anticipation builds for Busch Gardens' newest attraction, the ride reached another milestone recently. The first ride vehicle for Tigris has been delivered and placed on the track.
The theme park shared a first look at the ride vehicle on Wednesday.
"It's a bird, it's a plane, it's…Tigris trains on the track!," Busch Gardens wrote on Twitter.
Earlier this month, the theme park announced that crews had finished installing the coaster's track.
The coaster will travel more than 60 mph along more than 1,800 feet of steel track. It will also feature drops, twists, an inverted heartline roll, and forward and backward motions.
An official opening date for Tigris has not yet been announced.
