  • Other activities include Christmas Tree Trail, light show, scavenger hunt

More than 10 scenes and from the holiday film will be recreated into larger-than-life ice sculptures.

"From the hot chocolate dance scene to the train coming down the hill at glacier gorge, which is the ice slide room, all the way up to the North Pole," said Niko Nickolaou, special events director for Gaylord Hotels.

The sculptures, which will be kept at 9 degrees, will be hand-carved by Chinese artisans using two million pounds of colorful ice.

The exhibit will also include two-story ice slides and a traditional nativity scene made of ice carvings.

Other activities to be offered at the resort during the holidays include the Elf Training Academy, Sounds of the Season Concert Series, a Christmas Tree Trail, Naughty or Nice Escape Room, a Secret Santa Scavenger Hunt, and a brand-new light show in the resort's atrium.

Visitors will also be able to throw snow balls at targets and go tubing down an eight-lane hill covered in snow.

The 25-minute live acrobatic show Cirque Dreams Unwrapped returns with new acts and performers.

The holiday experience runs November 25 through January 5.
