The theme park shared an aerial view of the tree and the coaster on its Twitter account Tuesday.
"We put a Christmas tree on top of a roller coaster. What'd you do today?" Busch Gardens tweeted.
Iron Gwazi, which is scheduled to open in the spring, will be the fastest and steepest hybrid coaster in the world, reaching speeds of 76 mph. It will also be the tallest hybrid coaster in North America, with a peak standing at 206 feet.
The coaster will also feature a 91-degree drop.
Although featuring a new concept, Iron Gwazi will integrate elements, including the wooden track, from its predecessor Gwazi, which closed in 2015.
Busch Gardens has been periodically sharing updates about Iron Gwazi's construction on its social media channels.
