Sky Hawk, the 90-foot-tall swing attraction, is expected to debut in May.
The ride, manufactured by Ohio-based A.R.M. USA Inc., will hold 24 passengers at a time and feature two different types of seating— the traditional side-by-side swings as well as side-by-side seating that will put riders horizontal.
Fun Spot says visitors will be elevated while spinning at 10 revolutions per minute.
Sky Hawk’s tower will also feature a programmable LED package with colors such as purple, magenta, yellow and orange.
The ride will be installed on the north side of the park between the White Lightning and Freedom Flyer coasters.
“We’re excited to offer our guests this thrilling new ride,” Fun Spot CEO John Arie Jr. said in a statement. “This addition will make a visit to our park even more memorable for families!”
With the arrival of Sky Hawk, Fun Sport Orlando will have 31 rides.
