Universal Orlando made the announcement Wednesday.

It’s one of the most popular rides at Universal.
Jurassic World VelociCoaster, another popular ride at Universal, reached one million riders about a month after its grand opening in June.
Revenge of the Mummy is scheduled to close in early January for a lengthy refurbishment. The attraction is expected to reopen in late summer.
Universal hasn’t said what, if any, changes will be made to the ride during the refurbishment. Earlier this year, the ride briefly closed for maintenance and reopened with enhanced special effects.
