Peppa Pig Theme Park will make its splashy debut Feb. 24, but on Wednesday, members of the media were invited out for a preview.
The new park, located next to Legoland Florida, features attractions and shows inspired by the popular children’s series.
From the moment visitors arrive at the park, they will be immersed in the world of Peppa Pig. A statue of the character is located near the entrance. The music from the show fills the air. Visitors may also recognize familiar voices as they make their way around the park.
The park offers a range of attractions. One of the main attractions—one that’s sure to be popular with visitors—is Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster. It’s being described as the perfect starter coaster for kids. The coaster has riders boarding Daddy Pig’s car as he tries to take a short cut. Along the way, there are a few twists and turns.
Before getting on the coaster, riders will get to venture through a replica of Peppa’s yellow house. This section of the queue features a few pictures of Peppa and her family and some purple chairs.
Other attractions at the park include Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride, which gives riders of a view of the park from the top; Granddad Dog’s Pirate Boat Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure.
And although the park was designed for younger children, the rides were built in a way that allows adults to enjoy them along with their child.
Beyond the rides, the park also has several play areas. There’s a pirate-themed area with sand and there’s a splash pad themed to “muddy puddles.”

The park was also designed to be for all kids, to be highly accessible and accommodating. When it opens, Peppa Pig Theme Park will be a Certified Autism Center. Legoland Florida has also acquired that designation as well.
"What that means for families is that all of our staff have gone through training programs to be able to interact with kids who are on the autism spectrum to understand what their needs are," said Rex Jackson, managing director of Legoland Resorts and Peppa Pig Theme Park North America.
Attractions and rides around the park will feature sensory guides to inform visitors about the type of experience.
Other offerings include Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena, which hosts live shows periodically throughout the day, The shaded area in front of the stage features giant pillows for visitors to sit or lounge on while enjoying the show.
Another relaxing area of the park is the Cinema. The indoor space features more large pillows in front of a big screen that plays episodes of Peppa Pig.
For when visitors get hungry, there’s Miss Rabbit’s Diner. The sit-down restaurant features a western theme and serves up a menu of pizza, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese and more. There are also flatbread, smoked brisket melt and rice and vegetable bowl for adults. Seating is available indoors as well as in a shaded outdoor area.

Not far from the dining location is Mr. Fox’s Shop, which is stocked with plenty of Peppa-themed merchandise.
Peppa Pig Theme Park and Legoland are both operated by Merlin Entertainments, but Peppa Pig is its own standalone park which means it’s separately ticketed. However, there are ticket and annual pass options that include both Peppa Pig Theme Park and Legoland.
