YBOR CITY, Fla. — Five things you need to know about "Ye Mystic Krewe of Ybor Chickens," now available for your viewing pleasure in Ybor City:

• The exhibit of paintings can be found at Tre Amici at the Bunker now through Sunday, March 3 at 3 p.m.
• Artist Lynn Rattray's paintings are based on the many chickens that wander Ybor City's streets, wild and free.
• The chickens have been in Ybor for more than a century, left behind by cigar factory workers who left when jobs became scarce.
• The animals are protected by a Tampa City ordinance.
• The chickens dig and scratch for food and sleep in trees.
