Here are 5 things to know about the exhibit:
- It’s meant to show how Greek theater inspired modern films.
- Objects representing Greek theater are surrounded by still film images.
- The stills include 17 groups of movies from 1927-1985.
- Also in the exhibit is a statue of Dionysus, the god of wine and theater, which the curator called “the most amazing and the highest quality” image of the god that has survived.
