A 1980s music icon, newly added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, will play Albany this summer.
Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo will be the headline act July 13 at the Empire State Plaza, as part of the Summer at The Plaza Capital Concert Series.
Benatar will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of 2022. That class was announced Wednesday.
Benatar and Giraldo are known for hits like "We Belong," "Heartbreaker" and "Love is a Battlefield," among others. Married since 1982, they have two multi-platinum albums and 19 Top 40 hits, selling more than 30 million records worldwide.
The show is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. on July 13.
