The orange glow of the Halloween lights await, as you board this trolley destined to roll through the streets of Sarasota. Telling the haunted tales that can be found around every corner and there's no better person to introduce to you to the many haunted and mysterious tales surrounding the area than a seasoned performer like, Kaylene McCaw.

In her words she's been performing “forever” starting in her rural hometown where she performed in a community center as a child. Now, all these years later, she's still performing and one of her many gigs is aboard the Sarasota Trolley Tours, where she gets to blend her passion for acting with the history of the area during their haunted trolley tours.
The tours have been running in the area for the past four years.
“I actually started doing these the first Halloween and hey had someone drop out and one of their other employees thought of me, and it's been a match made in heaven ever since," McCaw said.
Aboard this authentic old-time trolley they'll take you on a 90-minute excursion, weaving through the streets of Sarasota, taking you to local cemeteries, old-time bars and hotels believed by some to be haunted — it even stops at a few spots where a mysterious guest or two will hop aboard to tell their tale from beyond the grave.
It's a trip into the realm of the dead getting a glimpse into the many ghost stories that continue to haunt guests who visit this historic city.
“It's a great combination of real local history and fun spookiness," McCaw said, "Even the people who have lived here a long time that come on our tours will walk away saying, 'Wow, I learned something.'”
In addition to their Haunted Sarasota Tour and their Boo Mobile for younger audiences, Discover Sarasota Tours has a host of different tours that run through out the year — coming soon after the Halloween season will be the upcoming Christmas Carol Trolley.
