LOS ANGELES — Children’s Hospital Los Angeles’ Center for Transyouth Health and Development is one of the oldest and largest Transyouth programs available.

However, the hospital announced they will no longer accept new patients for hormonal therapy in response to President Trump’s executive order seeking to stop medical procedures for transgender youth by threatening funding.

On Thursday, despite rainfall, protesters gathered outside the Children’s Hospital LA to demand the hospital reverse their decision.

California State Attorney General Rob Bonta has since sent a letter to the hospital warning of potential violations of state anti-discrimination laws.
