SAN PEDRO, Calif. — The Earthquake Brace and Bolt Retrofit program provides homeowners with $3,000 grants to better secure and retrofit homes in case a major earthquake rolls through.
Program applications will be accepted by the California Residential Mitigation Program until midnight Wednesday, 3/26.
To qualify:

California Earthquake Authority Chief Mitigation Officer Janiele Maffei said over 30,000 homes have been retrofitted through the program since 2013.
She estimates at least one million homes could still be eligible.
