It's a warning every parent has heard before: Watch what your kids are doing online.

Recently, there's been a big focus on expanding protections for children who use the internet, both by keeping a closer eye on the content they consume, and cracking down on predators lurking on the web.

The question is, though, will these measures like the “Kids Online Safety Act” be effective? Can more rules and regulations make the internet a safer place for kids? Or will it always come down to vigilant parenting, to make the difference?
