Florida's 47th District State Representative Paula Stark's favorite thing about being a legislator is contributing to history, making a difference in her community and across the state. The biggest lesson she's learned in office is to prioritize her constituents and expect the unexpected.

One thing Stark would say her district does better than anywhere else is come together across older and newer generations. In three words, she would describe her district as "diverse, unified, and faithful."

Stark's first job was working as a camp counselor at the YMCA. Her favorite movie is Jumping Jack Flash.
