Aimee Streeter has been brought back to the Polk County Jail to face charges of shooting her estranged husband and his girlfriend in Lakeland on Sunday and fleeing back to her home in Alabama.
Streeter will be booked in the Polk County Jail tonight, deputies said.
Streeter, 33, was arrested in Alabama on Monday. Detectives said she ambushed Tabarri Clayton, 36, and Janice Lucas, 35, on Sunday morning at their home on the 600 block of Crescent Hills Place.
Detectives say Streeter parked her vehicle two blocks from the victims' home in the Crescent Hills subdivision. When Lucas got home from church, Streeter shot her five times.
Lucas remains in very critical condition, while Clayton's condition has improved, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.
