Wayne Ivey has moved up his Monday afternoon sign-waving in Melbourne from 5:30 p.m. to 4:30, citing the switch back to Eastern Standard Time.
Ivey will be at the corner of Eau Gallie Boulevard and U.S. Highway 1.
"I hope to see everyone there, and I greatly appreciate everything you are doing to make sure we are successful Tuesday evening," Ivey wrote on his campaign's Facebook timeline.
The Republican candidate for Brevard County Sheriff is holding his Election Night watch party at Island Lincoln Mercury, at 1850 E. Merritt Island Causeway, in Merritt Island. That starts at 6:30 p.m. The polls close in Brevard County -- and all of Florida -- at 7 p.m. local time.

Wayne Ivey is the master of ceremonies for a big fundraiser Sunday to benefit kids.
Ivey will be at the AMIkids Space Coast Fall Fundraiser at the Viera Regional Park Community Center.
The 24th annual event helps the non-profit, which in turn helps children make positive decisions through programs.
Ivey also went to Facebook to thank volunteers who spent the last week at early voting sites across Brevard County.
“Our team members have done an amazing job during the past 15 months by representing our campaign with commitment, dedication, and professionalism,” Ivey wrote.

It’s crunch time and Wayne Ivey is planning on sign waving from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
He and his team will be at the intersection of Barnes Boulevard and Murrell Road in Rockledge.
We asked him how he’s feeling his campaign has gone so far, he said: “I’m as happy as I can be.”
Ivey will also attend a non-political event Saturday, “Step Up to Down Syndrome” in Cocoa.

After more than a year of non-stop campaigning, Wayne Ivey is taking Friday to say thank you.
The Republican candidate has an administrative day. He plans to write thank you cards to his volunteers, who are still out at early voting locations, waving signs.

Even on the last week before Election Day, Wayne Ivey spent part of Monday giving a presentation on "Self-Defense through Mental Preparedness."
Ivey said the presentation "focuses on crime prevention techniques and awareness to protect ourselves against violent criminals."
But it's back to sign-waving Tuesday evening, this time in Port St. John, where Ivey will join volunteers at the corner of U.S. Highway 1 and Fay Boulevard.
Ivey's next sign-waving event is Thursday in Melbourne, at the intersection of Pineda Causeway and Wickham Road.

The Ivey campaign is scheduled to wave signs Monday evening at the intersection of State Road 520 and Courtenay Parkway, in Merritt Island, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
More sign-waving events are scheduled later this week. Ivey posted them on his campaign Facebook timeline.
"As we close out the last few days of the campaign, it is exciting to see our team's continued enthusiasm at each event," Ivey said. "I hope each of you can make the various dates, and I look forward to seeing you there."
The next sign-waving event is scheduled Tuesday evening, also at 5:30 p.m. at U.S. Highway 1 and Fay Boulevard, in Port St. John.

Wayne Ivey is spending the second day of early voting in Brevard County traveling to polling locations.
Ivey says the next week and a half will be busy. He’s making sure has volunteers at each of the early voting locations waving signs.
Ivey will not vote early. He plans to vote with his wife on Election Day.
“It’s an incredible feeling, it’s pretty humbling,” Ivey said about having his name on the ballot.

Wayne Ivey is trying to hit all 8 early voting polling locations in Brevard County Saturday.
News 13 caught up with him at the Brevard County Service Complex in Melbourne.
He says this is his big push with 10 days to go until the general election.
Ivey and his volunteers waved signs as residents drove to the early voting location.
Ivey told News 13 that he couldn’t have done this without his volunteers and campaign staff.
In fact, Ivey plans to have a volunteer at each of the nearly 200 precincts in Brevard County on Election Day.

Hurricane Sandy is putting a small damper on Wayne Ivey’s campaign efforts.
Ivey’s campaign has cancelled two sign waving events for Friday evening and Saturday morning. They still plan on sign waving at early voting locations on both Saturday and Sunday.

Wayne Ivey spent the morning at the Business Voice Election Breakfast, held at the Suntree Country Club. Business Voice endorsed Ivey and this was his chance to tell Brevard County Chamber of Commerce members why they should vote for him.

Wayne Ivey told News 13 Wednesday he’s having a “great time” campaigning. The Republican candidate just picked up a big endorsement from the Florida Today newspaper.
Ivey has been hitting the airwaves with campaign ads.
In one ad, Ivey appears in front of a cemetery. He tells News 13 the reason was to show the seriousness of prescription drug abuse and related deaths in Brevard County. Ivey says if he’s elected sheriff, he’s going to go after pill mills and drug trafficking.

With two weeks until Election Day, Wayne Ivey is hitting the campaign trail hard across the Space Coast.
Tonight, he and opponent Adrian Moss-Beasley will participate in a political forum in Satellite Beach. The forum, hosted by the Satellite Beach Women's Club, starts at 7 p.m. at the Scotty Culp Civic Center, at 565 Cassia Blvd.
On Wednesday, Ivey said he will be visiting with folks at a fundraiser for the Serene Harbor Domestic Violence Center, in Palm Bay. After that, he is scheduled to give an identity theft presentation at 7 p.m. at the Capron Ridge Clubhouse, near Viera.
Thursday morning, Ivey is attending a Melbourne Chamber of Commerce networking event at 7:30 a.m. That afternoon, his campaign will wave signs at the intersection of US-1 and State Road 520 starting at 5:30 p.m.
Friday starts with an appearance on WMMB-FM's Bill Mick Show for a candidate forum. Moss-Beasley will also be on the show.
Ivey is then spending Friday afternoon at the 3rd Annual Performance Shooting Challenge at the Palm Bay Gun Range. The event is a fundraiser for Brevard Partners in Crisis.
Another sign-waving event is set for 5:30 p.m. Friday at Eau Gallie Boulevard and Wickham Road.

Monday night is Wayne Ivey's last campaign team meeting before the general election.
The Republican candidate for Brevard County sheriff posted the following on his campaign Facebook page Sunday:

Tomorrow night's 'Elect Wayne Ivey' team meeting will start at 6:00 p.m. and as always will conclude by 7:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at Carroll Distributing located at 1553 Silicon Avenue, Melbourne, FL, and will include discussion about our final strategy for the last 15 days of the campaign. We will have sign-up sheets available and will also discuss Precinct locations and sign waiving dates.

The Republican candidate for Brevard County sheriff started the day in Viera at the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. Ivey’s challenger in the race, Adrian Moss-Beasley also attended the walk to raise money and awareness to fight breast cancer.
This afternoon, Ivey has a Bar-B-Q fundraiser in Melbourne. It’s being hosted by Bansbach Easylift, a developer and producer of gas springs in North America.

Wayne Ivey hit the airwaves Friday morning to share his message to Brevard County about what he would do if he became sheriff. The Republican appeared on WMMB’s Bill Mick Live.
Friday evening, Ivey will be volunteering at a booth at the St. Teresa School fair in Titusville. The annual event is billed as the largest church fair on Florida’s east coast.

Wayne Ivey called Wednesday night successful after finishing in the lead of a straw poll, conducted at a Political Hob Nob hosted by three local chambers of commerce.
Ivey came out with 133 votes. His competitor in the Brevard County sheriff's race, Democrat Adrian Moss-Beasley, got only 56 votes.
Ivey will be going to The Tides Restaurant at Patrick Air Force Base on Thursday for a retirement party for several area chiefs of police.
Thursday evening, Ivey will attend an endowment campaign kickoff in Indialantic.

Wayne Ivey is ramping up his election efforts, now with just three weeks to go until Election Day.
Ivey says he is talking to voters any chance he gets. His team has also started sign-waving at busy intersections across Brevard County.

Wayne Ivey spoke Monday to a group in Orlando about identity theft, crime prevention and "various techniques to combat crime," the candidate wrote on his Facebook timeline.
Ivey has a busy day on Tuesday, with three appearances scheduled.
First, he will be at a candidate meet-and-greet starting at 2 p.m. at the Buena Vida Estates, located on West New Haven Ave., off US-192 in Melbourne.

Afterwards, Ivey will appear at the Grand Master Homecoming at the Merritt Island Moose Lodge at 5 p.m.

The candidate for sheriff is attending the Purposed with a Purpose luncheon at the Crowne Plaza Melbourne Oceanfront. It’s a fundraiser for victims of domestic violence.

Wayne Ivey appeared Tuesday at an anti-bullying event at Merritt Island High School.
The presentation, calld "Champion of Choices," featured former WWE Superstar Marc Mero, who used his own life stories to teach kids how to learn to make better choices in their own lives.
"Marc emphasizes making the right choices to achieve your personal goals and keeping in perspective that happiness is what makes you rich in life," Ivey said in a post on his Facebook timeline.
Ivey is scheduled to speak Tuesday night in Barefood Bay about crime prevention and his vision for the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.

Wayne Ivey says he hasn’t taken a day off from campaigning since August 2011.
Unlike the primary, where he spoke primarily to Republicans, Ivey says: "Now I get to go out and meet everybody."
Although he says the concerns from residents are universal, "they want to know how I'm going to protect them, their family and business," said Ivey.
