Adrian Moss-Beasley is making a last-minute push to attract voters on both ends of Brevard County -- on the north end Monday, and the south end on Election Day.

It's all leading up to his Election Night watch party in Rockledge. The Democratic candidate for Brevard County sheriff -- or "the People's Sheriff," as he's called himself on the campaign trail, is holding his watch party at Ruby Tuesday on Fiske Boulevard, starting at 7 p.m.

"With my 21 years of law enforcement experience with our Sheriff's Office when I take office, the transition will be smooth," Moss-Beasley told News 13.

Adrian Moss-Beasley will spend this Sunday before Election Day talking to voters on the south end of Brevard County.

The candidate for sheriff says he’s telling voters he’s the best choice.

“I am already familiar with the policies and procedures of the sheriff's office along with the union contract the civilian employees and sworn law enforcement officers currently work under,” said Moss-Beasley, who is currently a sheriff’s deputy.

Adrian Moss-Beasley is hoping to turn out the vote on this last day of early voting.

The candidate for sheriff will be meeting with voters in Central Brevard County Saturday.

He said he will tell voters at every stop that his current job as a sheriff’s deputy in Brevard County will help if he’s elected.

News 13 caught up with the Democratic candidate for Brevard County Sheriff Saturday at an early voting location in Melbourne.

“It’s a lifelong dream,” Moss-Beasley told News 13. “It’s a dream to be considered a candidate for Brevard County Sheriff, I’ve been with the sheriff’s office for 21 years and just to be able to have the opportunity to be voting in sheriff, that is an awesome feeling.”

Before voting, Moss-Beasley waved a sign in front of the Brevard County Service Complex.

The current sheriff’s deputy did have to cancel an earlier sign waving event because of Hurricane Sandy.

Tonight, he'll participate in a political forum hosted by the Satellite Beach Women's Club. The forum starts at 7 p.m. at the Scotty Culp Civic Center, at 565 Cassia Blvd.

On Thursday, he's attending a meeting of the Barefoot Bay Democratic Club.

Friday is Moss-Beasley's busiest day this week, starting with an appearance on the Bill Mick Show on WMMB-FM at 8 a.m., alongside his opponent, Wayne Ivey.

After that, Moss-Beasley is scheduled to attend an NAACP Banquet at the Holiday Inn Space Coast Convention Center.

Adrian Moss-Beasley had quite the active weekend, with three events on Sunday alone.

The Democratic candidate for Brevard County sheriff attended a meet-and-greet at Faith Temple Christian Center, in Rockledge. He then spoke at the Space Coast Progressive Festival Sunday afternoon at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, in Melbourne.

“It has been exciting going throughout the county and letting people know my message of unity and also to put deputies back in the community for a one-on-one relationship with citizens,” Moss-Beasley told News 13.

The Democratic candidate for Brevard County sheriff participated Saturday morning in a breast cancer walk in Viera.

Moss-Beasley was one of many local candidates, including his challenger, Wayne Ivey, to walk in the event, which raises money for breast cancer awareness and research.

After that, the current sheriff’s deputy traveled to the Community Unity Day in Mims. The event, hosted by the East Mims Civic League was located at the Harry T. Moore Community Center on Freedom Avenue. It’s a way to get his name and his message for the future of Brevard County law enforcement out to the community.

The Democratic candidate for Brevard County Sheriff finished behind his competitor, Wayne Ivey, in a straw poll Wednesday evening. The poll was conducted during a Political Hob Nob hosted by three area chambers of commerce.

Moss-Beasley has several events planned for the weekend. On Friday, he plans to wave signs at the intersection of Malabar Road and Minton Road, in Palm Bay.

Adrian Moss-Beasley has picked up his campaign appearances in the past week.

The Democratic candidate for Brevard County sheriff has spoken to several homeowners' associations, debated at candidate forums and spoken on local radio programs.

Moss-Beasley will participate in a Political Hob Nob Wednesday night. He and his competitor, Wayne Ivey, will go head-to-head in a straw poll.

The Hob Nob is being hosted by three local of chambers of commerce at the Florida Today offices on US-1. Candidates will start speaking at 6:30 p.m. There is a $10 admission fee.
