Bright House Networks Digital TV customers who wish to watch French language news and programming can now see it at no extra cost.
Bright House is making TV5Monde, a 24-hour French channel, available in Tampa Bay and Central Florida on channel 577, and in Detroit, Michigan on channel 782.
"Our concern and deepest sympathies are with the people of France,” said Kimberly Maki, vice president for corporate communications and public relations.
The channel will be available between now and midnight, Nov. 16.
Bright House Networks is the parent company for News 13 in Orlando and Bay News 9 in Tampa.
