A Citrus County sheriff's deputy was arrested and charged with solicitation and engaging in prostitution, authorites said Wednesday.

The Hernando County Sheriff's Office said Robert Grange, 31, was taken into custody.
Authorities said the arrest was in connection with an incident that occured in Hernando County on July 4.
Grange has been fired from his job in Citrus County, officials said. An internal affairs investigation is being conducted.
He had been with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office since July 2015.
