A Tampa man has been arrested in connection with the September 2017 murder of an Osceola woman.
James Jackson, 68, is charged with first degree murder in the death of Diana Medina, 36.
Medina's body was found on Sept. 26 behind some bushes at the corner of W Spruce Street and N Oregon Avenue.
Officials said she was stabbed multiple times and was strangled.
Detective said Jackson knew Medina.
Jackson was arrested on unrelated drug charges two weeks after the murder. He was arrested Monday, April 23, 2018 in jail.
