SOUTHPORT, N.C. -- Stormy conditions allowed for a waterspout to form over water and soon make its way on land.

According to the Southport Fire Department, the waterspout came ashore around 3:15 p.m. yesterday.

Officials report that there was no damage but the whole thing was an impressive sight for those on the beach.
