TAMPA, Fla. -- Incoming University of South Florida students are getting help registering to vote today through NextGen Florida. 

The youth voter organization plans to register hundreds of incoming students to vote at USF. It is part of their pledge to register 15,000 students across the state as students return to school.

At the Black Student Union's event "The Next Generation's Call to Action," NextGen will host a voter registration drive and help students connect with political issues that are important to them. 

The event runs from 4:30 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the MLK Stage Fountain, located at 4103 Cedar Circle, Tampa.
