HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. -- A 10-month-old child was killed Sunday in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened along northbound I-75 near mile marker 266 in Hillsborough County.
Troopers say a 50-year-old woman driving a Hyundai Elantra northbound veered left to avoid debris in the road. She lost control of the vehicle, causing it to collided with the center guardrail and rotate.
Three children were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. Two of the children, a 10-month-old and an 8-year-old, were ejected from the vehicle. The 10-month-old was killed. The 8-year-old and the other child, a 3-year-old, were injured and transported to Tampa General Hospital. None of the children were wearing restraints, according to an FHP report.
The driver, who troopers say is the children's grandmother, was not injured.
Charges against the driver are pending, according to the FHP report.
