ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg is getting into the Halloween spirit. Dozens of zombie dancers participated in the museum's first annual "Zombie Thriller Dance" on Wednesday night.
More than 100 people from age 5 to 71 performed the famous dance from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” video in front of the museum, beginning an annual Halloween season tradition.
The dancers practiced at rehearsals and at home for the past four weeks, and many were in full costume and makeup, thanks to volunteer make-up artists who helped the dancers get into character.
The performance was in advance of the annual Thrill Day 2018 this Saturday, Oct. 27, where dancers around the world will perform the “Thriller” dance simultaneously to set a world record.
