CINCINNATI -- Kroger recalled shrimp sold at its stores in Ohio and other states, amid concerns the products are not fully cooked. The shrimp was produced and packaged by Aqua Star Smart Seafood based in Seattle.
Customers who bought the affected packages should not eat the product and can return them to the grocery store for a full refund. The company also has a hotline consumers may call. It is (800) 232-6280.
The shrimp was also sold in Michigan and Northwestern Virginia, as well as KingSoopers, Frys and Smiths stores. Click here for a list of the affected products.
