Brown, who served two years in prison, was released last February.
Morrison was shot while sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot of Salina’s Auto Repair at 13413 N. Nebraska Ave.
Officials said a man approached a Florida Highway Patrol trooper who was stopped at the light and told him there was an injured man sitting in a car in a parking lot. Morrison was rushed to an area hospital where he later died.
Authorities said they are not sure if Brown is hiding out in the area or has left the area.
The Sheriff's Office is asking anyone with information about Brown to contact them at (813) 247-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477 or crimestopperstb.com.
