ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The Tampa Bay Rays are starting off the summer with $5 tickets for five upcoming home games.

Tickets will be sold for games June 10 to 14, when the Rays will be taking on the Oakland Athletics and the Los Angeles Angels.

About 5,000 seats will be available per game at the discounted price.

Seat locations will vary throughout the 100 Level, 200 Level, and GTE Financial Party Deck.

This special pricing comes after the Rays drew only 5,786 fans last Tuesday, the smallest home attendance since the team started to play at Tropicana Field in 1998.

Tampa Bay’s average game attendance is currently the second-lowest in the MLB, averaging 13,801 spectators per home game.
