TAMPA, Fla. — There will be a wake today and funeral Saturday for a former Plant High School football player who was killed in a shooting that remains unsolved.

26-year-old Eric Patterson went on to play for the NFL before coming back to Tampa.
Earlier this month his roommate heard a noise and found Patterson shot in their home on West Plaza place.
Police this week released video of the possible suspect vehicle, a white SUV.
There is also video of a dark sedan in the same area and same time.
Police want to speak to the people in these cars.
