ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — High pressure and dry air aloft will keep us mainly dry through Monday.

Rain chances for the rest of this evening will be less than 10 percent, so a quiet evening will continue.

Most of the area will see similar conditions tomorrow with a few afternoon clouds and a 20 percent chance of a brief shower or storm Sunday afternoon.

Temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s on Sunday with a heat index value in the low 100s.

Monday is looking quiet too. Similar weather setup in place but then we return to a stormy pattern from Tuesday through the remainder of the week with scattered thunderstorms each afternoon.

Temperatures will not be as hot midweek.
