TAMPA, Fla. — The University of South Florida Police Department is investigating a sexual battery report that occurred on campus Saturday.
According to a preliminary report, no physical injuries were reported and the victim was acquainted with the suspect.
The incident occurred at the USF Magnolia D Residence Hall at about 3 a.m.
Authorities say there is no ongoing threat to the campus, and that police are pursuing this as an active criminal investigation.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the USF Police Department at 813-974-2628.

- Notify the police fi anyone or anything looks out of place
- Report suspicious activity immediately by calling 911
