OCALA, Fla. — Detectives say a New Smyrna Beach man whose body found between two businesses early Wednesday was killed somewhere else and brought there.

The body of Eric Michael Rugg, who was found shot, was found between an Auto Zone and Shell gas station near 1700 Pine Avenue in Ocala at about 4 a.m.

A 2007 GMC pickup truck suspected of being used in the crime was recovered in a parking lot in Putnam County. It was to be returned to Ocala for processing.
