ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Heavy thunderstorms on Tuesday evening produced 1-1.5” of rain in parts of Pasco, Hillsborough, Hernando, and Pinellas Counties.

Evening showers should continue to end over the next few hours.

Wednesday will be similar with a few afternoon showers and humid weather. Temperatures will peak in the upper 80s but the humidity will be high.

Slightly drier air moves in for Halloween. There will still be a few showers but the rain chances will be low.

The next front approaches Friday. It may spark a few showers as it passes through. It will cool us down by Sunday with highs near 80 degrees and lower humidity. It should feel much more comfortable.

Don’t forget, Sunday morning is the end of daylight saving time. We switch those clocks back by one hour.

Moisture returns quickly on Monday and Tuesday for the next chance of rain.
