TAMPA, Fla. — Cabin fever and coronavirus blues got you feeling like you gotta cut loose, Tampa residents? Your mayor's got you covered.

Mayor Jane Castor’s "Happy at Home" Karaoke Dance Party kicked off Monday night and the Bay area's residents showed off their moves.

It's all in an effort to encourage people to be happy at home during this pandemic and to give them a pick-me-up if being couped up is bringing them down.

If you missed tonight's party, don't worry! Castor plans for the parties to be a nightly event at 6 p.m. and she's doing it with the help of iHeart Media radio stations.
