CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. -- Pinellas County beaches are set to reopen Monday, and hotels on Clearwater Beach are preparing for the return of guests.

The Sandpearl Resort is making some changes to make sure their guests and staff stay safe during the coronavirus pandemic.

Here are five things you need to know:

  • Around the pool there will only be a few chairs set up instead of the normal 200. The county is now requiring capacity reduced by 50 percent.
  • After guests get up from their chairs, staff will sanitize the chairs and spray it with approved chemicals.
  • Inside, there will be hand sanitizer stations for guests and signs reminding people to keep their distance.
  • Also, housekeeping services will be on hold. Which means guests will be in charge of keeping their room tidy.
