TAMPA, Fla. — A new COVID-19 vaccination site opens Thursday at University Mall in Tampa.
Seniors ages 65 and older, and healthcare workers are eligible to receive the vaccine at the State’s new site.

It’s all part of the “Seniors First” initiative by the state. It prioritizes vaccinating seniors, and the more locations the vaccine is offered at, the more seniors will likely receive it.
This particular site will offers 1600 doses of the Pfizer vaccine each day.
It requires two doses, so everyone vaccinated will need to return in three weeks for the second dose.
The site is open from 8am-4pm, seven days a week. You do need to pre-register and schedule an appointment to receive a vaccine.
