Super Bowl LV is kicking off Sunday in Tampa and you’re not dreaming – the Buccaneers are back in the big game and hosting it in their own stadium. 

But 18 years ago, the team was making its first appearance in a Super Bowl and shaking off decades of losing seasons. 

In that 48-21 Tampa Bay win against the Oakland Raiders in January 2003, Mike Alstott scored the game’s first touchdown. Now, he’s sharing some of his Buccaneer and Super Bowl memories. 

Spectrum Sports 360 Reporter Katherine Smith also weighs in with her memories from Super Bowl 37, when she covered the team as a reporter with the Tampa Tribune. 

And Spectrum Sports 360 Reporter Chris Torello breaks down Tom Brady and Bucs’ chances against the Kansas City Chiefs.
