MASS. - Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey is warning of potential COVID-19 vaccine scams, as more adults become eligible.
The AG’s office says it has received reports of people getting emails or texts after they've had or registered for a vaccine through legitimate websites, congratulating them on their appointment and asking them to claim a prize.
They're asking people not to respond or click on links from a person or company you don't know, never provide personal information and be wary of requests for payments in exchange for early or expedited.
For more information and guidance on COVID-related email scams and phone scams, see the AG’s December 2020 vaccine scam advisory.
